Introducing MagicLearn

Mckay Wrigley|

MagicLearn is the new name for Takeoff.

We believe that AI is magic and that everyone should learn how to use it.

The Rebrand

Our previous name and brand felt a bit 2nd rate.

The domain was janky, the site was cluttered, and our general aesthetic lacked cohesion.

We believe this new name and brand better reflects a more premium feel - it's an environment that you'll actually want to learn in.

Most importantly, we want that premium feel to translate directly to our content.

Bugs

The transition from JoinTakeoff.com to MagicLearn.com will likely come with a few hiccups.

If you encounter any issues, please let us know by emailing us at support@magiclearn.com.

We think we've already fixed most of those issues, but if you encounter any bugs, please let us know!

Content Structure

Our previous content has been all over the place.

To fix this, we're going to begin putting all of our new content into 2 dedicated tracks:

  • AI for Code
  • AI for Work

These tracks will be a collection of courses and workshops that are specifically designed to help you learn how to use AI for those specific use cases.

Tracks will also include a sense of structure and progression so that you know how to get started and where to go next.

Magic MCP

We believe that AI requires new tools for learning.

Today, we're announcing a new tool called Magic MCP.

It's an MCP server that you can use with any of your favorite AI tools to help you learn wherever you code, work, and build.

Just sign in with your MagicLearn account and ask your AI for whatever you need. Magic MCP gives it a bunch of tools and context to help you learn and build.

All of you are increasingly learning more and more directly from the AI you work with. Magic MCP allows us to create content beyond just videos that will be useful not only to you, but to your AI tools.

You'll be able to ask the AI questions like "What hooks should I use with Claude Code?" or "How do I create an AI agent?" and the AI will be able to use Magic MCP to not only answer the question, but to immediately take action.

We're very excited for this.

It feels like the future of learning.

AgentShare

We're working on an app called AgentShare to help teach some of the content in our upcoming "AI for Work" track.

AgentShare is an agent workspace for creating, sharing, and running AI agents on your computer - a bit like Claude Cowork.

All MagicLearn Pro users will have access to AgentShare for free.

More on that when the "AI for Work" track release gets closer.

What to Expect in Q1

Our goal is to have fully released both AI for Code and AI for Work with full compatibility with Magic MCP by the end of Q1.

Magic MCP, AI for Code, and AI for Work will be prioritized in that order.

AI for Code content will be released every Monday and Thursday throughout the rest of February and March.

AI for Work content will be released every Tuesday and Friday throughout March, and we will release AgentShare (free access to all MagicLearn Pro users) at the start of March.

We will also occasionally release new content outside of these tracks, but the focus will be on the tracks.

Welcome to MagicLearn!

We're very excited for the launch of MagicLearn and for what we have planned for the rest of this quarter and beyond.

We think Magic MCP in conjunction with our 2 new tracks will be something you'll use almost every day, and we're excited to see what you build with it.

AI is magic, and we're going to be the best place in the world to learn how to use it.
